Rashtriya Virja Nand Andh Kanya Vidyalaya founded in 1950 by first lady of India Smt. Mata Raj Vanshi Deviji, wife of Dr. Rajendra Prasad, First President of India. Smt. Rajvanshi Deviji stood up for social cause along with eminent women of that era namely Smt Indrani Deviji, wife of Sh. Jagjiwan Ramjji, Railway Mnister, Govt. of India (1950), Smt. Lakshmi Deviji, wife of Shri Ajit Prasad Jainji, Food and agriculture Minister (1950) and more other women like her who wanted to contriute towards society.
Vision And Mission
For nearly 70 years Rashtriya Virja Nand Andh Kanya Vidyalaya (RVAKV) society is constantly striving of achieving equality in education through innovation, access and lifelong learning for visual impairment individual girls. We run a CBSE affiliated school from class 1-12 and provide free education, food and boarding to visually impaired girls in the name Rashtriya Virja Nand Andh Kanya Sr. Secondary School, Vikaspuri Delhi. RVAK society is committed to nurture and develop the hidden talent and help them to reach to their pinnacle of their potential. Our institution is donation driven and RVAKV society manages the expenses incurred on any activity.
